1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Aplioo ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Aplioo is an AI-powered platform that helps users optimize CVs and generate cover letters. The Service is provided "as is" and may be updated or modified at any time.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account.

4. Payments and Refunds

• Single CV ($4.99): you can request a refund within 14 days of purchase if you have not unlocked the CV. Once unlocked, a CV is not refundable, except when a technical problem prevents you from using it; then we will fix it, restore your credit, or refund you.
• Monthly Pro ($19.99/month) and Pro 3 months ($48.99): cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period. You can request a refund of your first payment within 7 days if you have not unlocked any CV with Pro. Renewals are not refunded after they are charged, except billing errors. Cancel before the renewal date to avoid a charge; we email you before renewal.
• Pro is for personal use by one person. Unlimited means no monthly cap for normal personal use. We may review unusually high use, and we may suspend accounts used to provide CVs to other people or for commercial purposes. You can always view and download every CV you have unlocked.
• To request a refund, write to support@aplioo.co from your account email. Refunds go back to your original payment method and can take 5–10 business days, depending on your bank to appear. Full details: Refund policy.
• Prices may change with 14 days notice.
• Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

5. Your Data

• You retain ownership of all content you upload (CVs, cover letters, personal information).
• By using the Service, you grant Aplioo a limited license to process your data solely to provide the Service.
• We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

6. Business Transfer

In the event that Aplioo or its assets are acquired, merged, or transferred to another entity, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. You acknowledge and agree that such transfers may occur, and that the acquiring entity will be bound by these Terms of Service with respect to your data. You will be notified via email at least 30 days before any such transfer takes place.

7. AI-Generated Content

Content generated by Aplioo's AI is provided as a suggestion only. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and using any AI-generated CV or cover letter. Aplioo makes no guarantees regarding job application outcomes.

8. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload false or misleading information
• Attempt to reverse engineer or copy the Service
• Resell or redistribute the Service without permission

9. Limitation of Liability

Aplioo is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost job opportunities.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms at any time without notice.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
